About Dr. Rivas

Dr. Noel Rivas has more than tree decades of experience in dentistry.

His contact with the subject started even before he was born, with the influence of his parents, who owned a successful dental laboratory. In the mid seventies, he graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara dental school. His career and education evolved along with the dentistry science.

After practicing for over twenty years in Guadalajara, he moved to Puerto Vallarta and founded PV Smile, which was first located at the Cornerstone’s Hospital Medical Building, and in March 2011 he moved to a new facility in a quiet neighbourhood where he set his present practice.

He is member of:
•    the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD),
•    the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (ACE),
•    the International Association of Medical Assistance to Travellers          (IAMAT),
•    the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP), and
•    the Medical Tourism Association.
Dr. Rivas has also established the “Smile Day” which is donating a day of work a week for the benefit of people in the community who cannot afford dental care.
